Bicomponent (bico) fibres combine the best qualities of two different polymers to enable innovative new uses in bonding to other fibers or materials

Polyester Low Melt (LMF bico)

Commonly used as a binder fibre in core-sheath constructions, our Polyester Low Melt (CoPET/PET) fibre bonds to other polyester fibres to produce wadding, padding, insulation, filtration, automotive, and other products where heat is used to activate the fibres. This fibre is normally blended with solid polyester fibers or recycled materials. Melting point 110C and 180C.

For hygienic purposes, a PP/PE or PE/PET is used.
