Bicomponent Fibers

Bicomponent fibers are made by mixing two different polymers, combining the best of both polymers, which provide new possibilities for use.

Polyester Low Melt

The fiber commonly used as a binderfiber, is the polyester low melt (CoPET/PET), in a core sheath construction which bonds to other polyester fibers to produce wadding, insulation, filtration, automotive, and other products where heat is used to bond the fibers. Usually this fiber is blended with solid polyester fibers or recycled materials.
